Pastry Live is proud to announce that Chef Lionel Clement of Nuubia Chocolat is the winner of the Chocolatier of the Year competition. Chef Clement’s delicious chocolate creations earned him first place out of nine fellow competitors, each of whom are among the top chocolatiers in the country, and he truly impressed the judges with his chocolatier skills. His Lime Vanilla Ganache chocolate earned him high scores for its excellent flavor and texture, while his Raspberry Jasmine Tea chocolate was praised for its creativity of design and execution. Both chocolates displayed his mastery of chocolate, as well as his ability to create unique flavor combinations, earning him the title of Chocolatier of the Year. Pastry Live wishes to congratulate Chef Clement and Nuubia Chocolat on winning this prestigious award.
WORLD CHOCOLATE MASTERS SILVER MEDALIST 2009
Representing the United States, Chef Lionel Clement won the Silver Medal - beating out the Top 20 Maitre Chocolatiers in the World at the prestigious World Chocolate Master Finals held in Paris.
USA CHOCOLATE MASTERS CHAMPION 2008
Chef Lionel Clement won the Prestigious World Chocolate Masters in New York City beating out pastry chefs and fine chocolatiers from the Country’s leading hotels and restaurants. As Champion he represented the United States the following year at the Salon du Chocolat World Chocolate Masters in 2009.
